i installed the JDK program to JCreator. i set up my JDK profile correctly, i think. the problem is, when i click on compile, it tells me there's a path error and it's looking for a file called "Javac.exe", which when i looked through the files, is a non-existing file. perhaps you can tell me how to fix it or what to change the path to.

Okay you need to do two things:
1) Â*make sure you install the Java JDK correctly. Â*you will need to download it from http://java.sun.com/ and then run the setup program
2) Â*download and install JCreator LE.
if you do this out of order it will cause problems...
search your computer for java.exe (program to run Java apps) or javac.exe (the Java complier). Â*once you have done this please make sure your JDK Profile in JCreator points to the correct directory. Â*You can add/modify that stuff by doing into Configure-->Options and then JDK Profile. if you do a search and don't find those files then you didn't setup the JDK correctly, please return to step #1.
If you have any questions please contact me (Dan) in the mornings in the Peirpont commons labs. Â*I will be there to help with whatever you need. Â*I hope this helps...
