Hey guys, to clarify how to move files from the university's network to your home computer, I've outlined a few steps to help you out. Â*Your accounts will de-activate on Sunday and your web sites will be erased in August. Â*Between now and then, heres what you can do:
1) Download an FTP program (optional if you already have one)
2) Sign in to the server: login.engin.umich.edu
3) Type in your username (uniquename) and password
4) Download your files to a local drive.
This will only work until your accounts are deactivated (Sunday), so be quick!
