Well, I spent most of my Sunday sitting around and fidgeting with the .NET install that we got with Game Dev. Since I am not too ecstatic about throwing away 100 bucks for XP, and dont feel like losing my support with a bootleg copy, I still have 98. Now, I finally called Microsoft, was quickly connected to an agent who informed me that the minimum OS for .NET is NT/2000/XP. He said while it might be possible to install it, that no support would be given. GO MICROSOFT! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone completed the installation on a non-XP box and had any information about how they did it.

Sorry... But ITS NOT going to work! Because the .Net Development enviroment requires core Windows NT/2000/XP system files.. And those are incompatible with Windows 98/Me (98/Me sucks anyways, it crashes way tooo much...)
Recommendation: Go but XP Pro or go get a pirated version or whatever... You should consider upgrading your OS. And whos needs MS support??? their support sucks sometimes anyways, theres better support on the web...
