So this is one of the classes I'm taking in the July 8 - 13 session, and I'm a little rusty on what we learned last year in the Intro C++ class. Will we be doing a review at the beginning of the class? Also, how does this year's Into C++ differ from last year's? The description talks a lot about image manipulation, which we didn't do last year.

Thanks!

The Intro C++ class this year is similar in past years in that we will learn the basics of C++ (I/O, for/if-else/while, functions, etc.) but a large portion of the projects will be based on using and manipulating the image library. The class will write programs which manipulates individually saved images. It's a very unique class and if you are hesitant on your C++ skills, it is not a boring class at all.

In terms of Intermediate C++, there will be very little review, done largely on the first day. The syllabus notes that it does make sure that everyone is up to speed so there is little worry there. Let us know if you have any more questions.

I'm also taking this class, I took intro Jva but I know a fair amount of C++, I think I will be fine, I can pick up new things quickly if need be.
