Hey Campers,
This is Joe Lee, the Head Instructor for the upcoming 2007 Camp CAEN. There have been a lot of rumors flying around about Camp CAEN, so I thought I'd make a post and address some of them.
Rumor 0) Holy Burritos! I head that Jamie is no longer director of Camp CAEN!
Response) Sad to say - this rumor is true. Jamie is no longer with us, though we wish him our best.
Rumor 1) On no! No more residential program!
Response) Falsehoods and Counter-truths! Camp CAEN 2007 will have a residential program! Now with extra pwnage!
Rumor 2) Egad! Camp CAEN is managed by evil corporate monkeys who are only about making money.
Response) Only partial truth. While we are managed by evil monkeys, Camp CAEN is not-for-profit, and therefore any money we make goes directly back into paying for Camp CAEN. However, we still must make at least enough money to pay for counselors, instructors, food, housing etc... In order to keep Camp CAEN running for future generations, we'll have to make some tough decisions. If you have any ideas on alternative compensation or ways to save money without hurting the camp, we'd love to hear them.
Thats all for now,
-EvilBunny (Joe)
