On my router at home, there's only space for 10 ports that I can forward, but since I have quite a few games that may need 10 ports EACH, is there a way that I can choose more ports to forward?

I have a linksys router, I'll get the model number later...

I have a lynsys couter with only 10 port forwards too. I just keep a few clear and change em when I need to. It works well enough.

If its really annoying you get a good software firewall and set dmz mode for your computer.

Just get a few PostIt notes going next to your computer, and write down all the port numbers you use, and then swap them out/in as necessary. If your router doesn't display more blanks when you've filled up all 10, you're out of luck. You can try upgrading the firmware, but no guarantees that'll help anything either. I have a Netgear WGT624v1, which takes up to 20 port forwards each, though I only use 6. Good luck! :)

BTW, there's no way a game would (realistically) need more than 10 ports that aren't within a range. What games are you talking about?

Well, final fantasy XI took 8, although I'm not playing that anymore. Sticky notes it is.

8 nonconsecutive ports? Ridonculous. Yes, that's so bad, it made me resurrect the word "ridonculous."

Also, there's the possibility that they're consecutive, which you haven't addressed, and your firmware just bites bad enough to make you forward single ports. Try something newer; my Linksys router definately supports range forwarding, with recent firmware.
