Due to the recent bots we had to add some additional requirements to registration, including email activation.


At least the bots may leave us alone now:) You would like that they would have more interesting websites to spam than one with no page rank.

How silly i was to think it would be that easy, they start threads like "Free online games, not MMORPG" hahaha seems like a caen related thread to me:) Anyway we have started filtering based on email address too to try and prune those that do complete registration and confirmation out.

it'd probably detract from the learning experience, when one is learning C++ and then you see an ad for AdventureQuest.
