Also, is there something I can be studying before this summer? I hope to take Intro Java and maybe System Administration.

I dont know when stuff will be up, but for your second question in terms of java, install JCreator lite and futz around in it. Here are some tutorials:

Here is the API which might be confusing but take a look at it at least:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/

If you look at stuff like String classes it is easier to relate to the code.
