me and my friend ian (old and current roommate) used to play this game, however, it used to crash when i played with winXP whenever i got a certain tech. I don't know how it runs on his new machine with XP, since we spent the time on other games (and homework and finals unfortunately). Also, when done multiplayer it was a little slow for our tastes. Basically our conclusion was to wait for MOO3 to come out (which should be soon, they are advertising).
