Digital filmmaking

hey

i attented camp caen for two years and one of the years i did the digital filmmaking class for half of the day

i'm really just interested in seeing whether or not i might want to take the digital filmmaking class, this year i started doing more digital video shooting/editing at my school and i think this class would be a lot of fun

what software would we be using in the class? final cut pro? imovie?

aside from the cameras and tripods, is there any other equipment we would be able to borrow/have access to during the session? steadicams? shotgun mics?

Hi there...I am not teaching this class but I asked the person who is teaching it. Â*The teacher is scheduled to be Zach who taught the class two years ago.

Here is what he said in regards to your question:

"The advanced students will almost certainly be editing with Final Cut Pro. It will be a big step up from the basic classes of the past couple years. Equipment details are unknown at the time. I'm working on getting better cameras and possibly shotgun mics, but I can't promise anything."
