Punk-pop, punk, some emo, some ska, some indie, a little bit of everything really.

Recent favorites:
The Starting Line, Catch 22, Spoon, Sugarcult, Jets to Brazil

Other favorites (what I was listening to a lot last summer): The Ataris, New Found Glory, Something Corporate, No Alternative (local Detroit-area band... they are AWESOME), RX Bandits

If you like punk at all I'd really recomend picking up Punk-O-Rama 5 next time you're at Best Buy or a record store, best CD you'll ever get for $5, with tracks by NOFX, Millencolin, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, 28 tracks in all, it's good stuff.

That's all from me for now...

and some more.... also techno is always awsome... like..

Boards of canada (they own ambient techno), orbital, howie b, seb fontaine, paul oakenfold, chemical brothers, dirty vegas, prodigy, fatboy slim (renegade master!), propellerheads (take california), DJ Tiesto, 808 State, Fluke, DJ Skribble, Sven Vath, Autechre (amazing l337 ambient), aphex twin, plaid....etc

I just bought Evanescence's new CD. It's a mixture of rock and goth, but it's really really good. Pretty much an alternative rock band with a female lead singer and pretty dark music - it's really really good. You'd recognize two of their songs from Daredevil if you saw it.

And I hate to say it, but I also like a little Linkin Park. They themselves aren't that good, but the people who worked on Reanimation with them (a ton) really made them sound a lot better. Hybrid Theory isn't good at all IMO, but I like reanimation a lot.

Goth isn't a genre

And all of linkin park's stuff gets really old really fast, I hope they die.

Not with the way the music industry is going now, they won't for a while.

I know goth isn't a really a genere, I meant it more as an adjective, lol. Gothic rock, as in dark sorta.

Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory got boring really fast, but I dunno, there's just something about Reanimation that I like.

Like adema?

(if you havn't heard them... this is from Adema - Freaking out (pretty awsome song):

"I was so much an outcast
No one ever liked me cause I wasn't wanted
I was so different from the rest of them all
Fucked up on the drugs, from all the speed
And I never got no sleep
Cause I kept on trippin' over what they said
And everything that my mom said made me mad
And everything that my dad said made me sad

Why am I even trying?
I'm crying out, I'm crying out
I cannot seem to keep from freaking out
Spinny round, spinny round, I've fallen down
I cannot seem to keep from freaking out

You keep shootin' those glances
Relating to the rawness, I'm a fuckin' lost kid
Trying so hard to become just like me, talk like me, walk like me
You keep trippin' on everything I wear, every time I swear
Even when it comes to my hair
It seems like you don't have the time to relate to my kind
I'm not a dope pullin' your life"

)

Yea, I've heard Adema, like them a lot. But Evanescence has a female lead singer. It's really an awesome change from the norm IMO.
