View Full Version : Mac compatibility in forums
I've noticed that in some of your scripting and text appearance, Mac OS 10.1.5 running IE 5.1.3 doesnt work well. For example after signing up it doesn't reroute me correctly, but signing in is fine, and quite frequently some text just doesnt show up. It's not much of a problem but it gets on my nerves when I can't read some people's posts and messages.

you know what, we (I) will look into this. I have access to OS 10.1.5 machine but I am not sure what version IE is.
are you having problems with other parts of the site or just the message board? see the msg board is something not made by us, so we only have so much control over the layout.
I will look into it, but otherwise give us feedback and we can check it out...sorry about that
(try getting Safari and see if that helps @ all)

I'll look into this as well. I'd recommend using Chimera (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/chimera/) or Safari (http://www.apple.com/safari/). I know Chimera is a lot faster than IE, and while I have not yet tried Safari myself, I've heard good things.
I only use this site in IE and Phoenix (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoenix/) for Windows most of the time. However, the forums work flawlessly in Phoenix, and since Phoenix and Chimera both use Gecko (Mozilla/Netscape 6/7) for their layout engine, it SHOULD be flawless in Chimera as well. Phoenix has a bug with the image-rotating JavaScript on the front page, but other than that it works fine with the site.
OPS Why arte thou using microshiz's IE?! im gonna smak u
