I think the coolest (to teach anyway) would be computer security. Some of the stuff is really easy to understand, but awsome in how well it works.

Since the CAEN mailserver had a bout with quite a nasty virus today, how about a minisession on virii/worms and the like? Could be entertaining http://campcaen.engin.umich.edu/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
a *nix class would rock. I've been teaching my self for a while, but I feel a lot of people are stuck on windows because it's very difficult to surpass the initial hurdles.
That would be t3h r0x0r. whee.
And, a popsicle eating class would be cool as all cool-ness.

quick note: it is possible to crash unix. I've done it before (don't ask how).
As for what would you like a *nix mini-session to teach. Asking for a generic class is like asking for a mini-session in art.

i really dont know... i just know linux is a cool os...
I slapped redhat linux on my home computer and have been playing with it since summer...
