Hey, is there anyone out there who plays Jedi Knights 2? I'm looking to play a lot over the camp. Of course, I was also looking to play a lot of UT and that never happened. Well, we'll see.

Stanley, your choices are c-strike, or ddr. that is all http://campcaen.engin.umich.edu/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
could you do both at the same time.....?
the music might give away your position /)

cool, yea i managed to borrow a copy of JK2 and it is quite sweet. Might have done better on my japanese quiz if i hadn't. have not yet had the ability to test out multiplayer with friends, as the rest of them are busy these days (me too, but go figure), but that should be remedied fairly soon. have you checked out the npc cheat? it is very fun sending dozens of landos to their respective dooms. Or having 20 lukes spar off against a few desanns... or killing the head of the rebel alliance? very cool. It shall be a good summer, and those who do not tire of the same simple game after a few years, well they can just remain in their ancient ways... plus you never know when someone might break your kneecaps in a sparring match and hinder your ddr playing abilities... accidents do happen.

Yeah, JK2 is awesome. I've been dueling with some friends for a week or so, and it is infinitely more fun and rewarding than straight Q3. The thing is, how easy will it be to run it in the lab, if enough people want to play? (I missed camp last year so I didn't get to see the new computers)

The new machines in the commons are Dell GX150s, P3 933s with 256 megs of RAM, I believe. Â*Not sure what the video cards are on there, though. Â*They ran Halflife/CS without any problems last year, don't really know about JK2.
EECS 2331 just got 18 brand new machines, this is the lab we're looking to get the advanced classes in. Â*17" LCD displays, P4 1.7ghz, 256 RAM and a GeForce2 GTS. Â*Incredibly beautiful machines. Â*http://www.engin.umich.edu/caen/wls/labs/eecs.shtml#2331 Â*The picture they have there is incorrect, however.
